Champagne Cath is a Danehill-free, stakes-winning daughter of Street Sense.

Street Sense’s daughters are now producing black type performers such as the multiple Group 1 winner Roaring Lion as well as Valour Road who has several Group and listed wins to his name. At the recent Magic Millions sale, the only yearling offered for sale out of a Street Sense mare sold for $500,000.

Champagne Cath’s progeny have sold to a top of $1,100,000 and her three foals to race are all city winners including Group 3 placed Pindaric (Fastnet Rock). Champagne Cath’s progeny show potential upside in the family. Her lightly raced 4YO Unconquerable was 3rd on her most recent start at Randwick. Her younger progeny are in the stables of Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald and Matt Hoystead.

She is being sold in foal to In The Congo. In The Congo is the highest Timeform-rated 3YO by Snitzel and the fastest winner of the Group 1 Golden Rose in history. As Australia’s busiest First Season Sire in 2023, his first crop has been enthusiastically received by breeders, many of whom returned to him again in 2024.
