Description

Fillysophycal is a winning granddaughter of the Champion sire Fastnet Rock and is being offered with a foal at foot by prolific sire of high quality winners in Better Than Ready.

Fillysophycal is out of racetrack sensation Fillydelphia who was an 11 timer winner, including the Group 3 BRC Rough Habit Plate, as well as two wins at Listed level one of which was the Sunshine Coast Cup. She placed at Listed level a further 6 times in a stellar racing career.

Although not covered in the 2024 season, Fillysophycal has already produced 4 live foals, all by Better Than Ready who's progeny are well sought after having recently sold up to $200,000 through the Magic Millions sale in January at an average price of $73,000 across 22 Lots offered. Unsurprisingly they have been purchased by leading stables and synidcators such as Gollan Racing, Darby Racing, Star Thoroughbreds, Anthony Freedman etc.

To date Better Than Ready has sired 14 individual stakes horses, 6 at Group level for 21 stakes wins. The 2yo out of the mare is being retained to race by the breeder, she has a yearling colt being offered as a yearling in 2025 and has a lovely weanling colt at foot as per the photos attached.
