Description
Pierant is a three-year-old gelding by Pierro and is out of a stakes-placed mare Flamboyant Lass, who has already produced Gambler (by Capitalist), a recent Warwick Farm and Randwick trial winner who is entered for the Golden Slipper, and the city winner and stakes-placed Nitrous (by Deep Field).
As a 2yo, Tommy Berry said of Pierant that he is a “beautiful big type of a horse, and going to be better when he gets over further”. Now a year later and all the hard work has been done, a rare opportunity to buy into a beautifully bred, well-educated, and only lightly raced gelding.
Pierant is in work at Warwick Farm with Annabel Neasham and Rob Archibald, and is sound and fit. His 7 starts to date have resulted in a second placing at Hawkesbury over 1500m.
Pierant will be soon back at the races being stepped up in distance. He should be competitive in the right race, so his maiden win may not be too far away.

This 5% share is being sold unreserved as owner is reducing the number of horses in training due to personal circumstances.
