Description
A talented Mare, Smokeshow was a fast daughter by Winning Rupert. Winner of 4 races from 18 starts with just shy of $150,000 in prizemoney she boasts a final race record of 18: 4-1-3. She was a winner from 1000m to 1200m with a Randwick Highway win to her name.
Winning Rupert is a consist stallion with a record continuously above 50% for winner to runners' and is the Sire of talented group winners Seonee, Semana and Tintookie.
Smokeshow is out of American Mare, Bibby. She was a 240,000USD Purchase from the 2013 Saratoga Selected Yearling sales and winner of 4 races.
Smokeshow is a half-sister to Recent City winner Junqueira. Against the speed she produced a blistering turn of foot to find a gap and fly home on the 14/02/25 at Canterbury.
Smokeshow visited the Aquis stallion Stronger last year. Served and scanned positive at first attempt. Unfortunately missed at 45-day scan. Therefore, she is empty and ready to visit your stallion of choice this season.
She is well natured, easy to handle and a great eater. Does not windsuck and is kind to humans and other horses. Very easy to catch as she is the first to approach you with a joyful Winnie.
This is a regretful sale as I have faith she will be a wonderful producer although it has been a case of attempting to grow to fast to quickly.
