Description
Has been seen to Windsuck. A well credentialed, young mare by gun broodmare sire, Not A Single Doubt. Talihina comes from a fast, precocious family, she is the half sister to the dual Group 1 placegetter Tulsi, A $550,000 Inglis Classic purchase in 2022 and she is closely related to this season’s two-year-old Listed Maribyrnong Trial winner, Tremonti.
This is an incredibly rich family of precocious individuals, including Golden Slipper winner and Champion two-year-old Filly, Kiamichi, Group one winner Denman, Group one winning 2yo Preserve and the extremely sharp Safeguard who has proven himself to be a useful sire in WA.
Talihina is the dam of two foals, the first of which, an Admire Mars colt, was purchased by astute judge Paul Beamish at the 2024 Gold Coast March yearling sale. Her second foal, a filly by the outstanding Spirit Of Boom, is sure to generate considerable interest at the upcoming Gold Coast yearling sale in the coming weeks.
She is being sold in foal to the exceptional young son of Zoustar in ZOUSAIN. A leading second season sire, Zousain is already responsible for 25 individual winners including Group Two winning juvenile Drifting, Group Two Flemington winner Amelita and the recent Listed Lonhro Plate winner, Ballazaine. Not only a success on the racetrack, Zousain has also been a major force in the sales ring with yearlings selling up to $650,000! At the recent Inglis Classic Sale, Zousain had eight lots fetch $100,000 or more, offering breeders a superb return on investment from a $20,000 service fee.
