Description
Zenon was a fast Melbourne metropolitan winner from just four starts under trainer Peter Moody. This daughter of Group 2 Magic Night Stakes winner Countess Christie has already produced two winners from four runners, including the 2YO city winner Cultural Amnesia.
Zenon is a straightforward, easy-to-handle mare, and she consistently produces quality offspring. A prime example is her Wootton Bassett filly, which sold for $200,000 at this year’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
She wasn't covered in 2024 and was rested having successfully gone in foal in her previous seven seasons. She also has a So You Think colt foal on the ground which is strong, good moving and well-balanced. He is a typical So You Think with a bit more substance - a trait that Zenon consistently passes down to her progeny.
Physically, Zenon is a stronger type with a good shoulder, plenty of width of hip and hindquarter. She is an incredibly easy mare to manage and has been an outstanding mother to each of her foals.
Zenon is by the American stallion Super Saver, who is the broodmare sire of eight individual stakes winners at 4%, including the Group 1 Cigar Mile winner Americanrevolution.
She has had no vices or surgeries and is being sold unreserved.
