Description
Untested 2yr old TRAPEZE ARTIST gelding. He was last in the racing stable in October 2024 for a preparation where he did a couple of sets of evens and had a practice jumpout with a stable mate before heading to the paddock to be gelded. This education preparation and the even time is as much as he’s done on the track to date so his ability really is unknown.
There was a complication with the gelding (details attached) which saw him have a bit more time in the paddock. He returned to pretraining in January 2025 and was then found to have a wind issue with a recommendation of surgery (report attached).
The owners have decided to focus on new stock coming through and not spend further money on the surgery. His owner report from October is attached as well as recent pretraining video’s.
His pedigree suggests he’ll be a 3yr old middle distance type and is from a 6 time winning O’REILLY mare. He’s a good type, strong and currently stands about 15.3-16hh and still looks to be growing. Has been good to have around the stable, shoe, float etc.
We can’t tell you if he has ability, but also can’t say he doesn’t, so he could prove a great pick up for someone prepared to do the surgery and find out.
