Description
Athletic colt by D'Argento, whose oldest crop of 3yo's are impressing trainers and breeders alike with a number of horses going through their grades and getting to stakes level.
This colt is from the multiple winning Hinchinbrook mares Lagarde.
Hinchinbrook has started off doing a great job as a broodmare sire inc. Gr. 1 winner INVINCIBLE SAGE, as well as SEJARDAN, BANDI'S BOY (bred and reared at Kooringal), CORDYCEPS SIX, WOLLOMBI and HELLIOS EXPRESS.
Lagarde is from a lovely winning family down the page that includes the likes of Gr. 1 Golden slipper winner FARNAN and SANDBAR amongst a host of other black type performers.
This horse was going to head to HTBA sale but has been elected to be sold as potentially not a huge premium with further costs likely to be entailed. Kooringal has had great form with yearlings sold online including Sweet Bubbles, who won this week at her second start as well as Brigidine Gal who recorded her second win from 5 starts, with two other city placings to go with her wins at Rosehill and Warwick Farm on 5/3/25, taking her earnings to $100K. With n o doubt far bigger things to come from the pair of them.
This horse has never had any issues and has never been scoped or xrayed (although can be organised if desired). He is a little open through the knees but a nice athletic fella who is ready to head to the breakers.
