Description
An attractive, well-balanced daughter of the up and coming, gun sire in Portland Sky, this filly is the first foal out of the Stratum mare in Serene Beauty. This mare comes from an incredibly fast family with being a half sister to Koi who is the dam of BUENOS NOCHES who is a Gr.3, listed winner and also dual Gr.1 placed in the VRC Sprint Classic and VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes. Serene Beauty grand dam is also champion 2YO filly in BALLROOM BABE. BALLROOM BABE is a triple Gr.1 winner and is the dam of Gr.2 winning JUST DANCING who is also the dam of two stakes performers in Ideal Guide and Princess Amelie.
This filly is by Portland Sky. Portland Sky is the first Group One winner for his well related sire Deep Field. He won the Group One Oakleigh Plate as a 3YO just like champion sires in Fastnet Rock and Snitzel. Portland Sky’s first yearlings have hit the sales ring this season and has had top class results such as $320,000, $180,000, $160,000 and $110,000 across Australian and New Zealand yearling sales.
