Description
Description: Good shape and depth. Good strong hind leg, with good depth of hip. However, he is a bit narrow and weak to follow; reflective of his sireline. Critically, he is offset through both knees and thus the withdrawal from the Adelaide Sale ….. The current yearling market is unforgiving on horses with imperfections. RACINGREWARDS nominated.
Pedigree: From the great EIGHT CARAT family, this New Zealand conceived colt is related to the likes of VISCOUNT, DON EDUARDO, VIKING RULER and OCTAGONAL. Additionally, this is the 2nd live foal and ½ brother to the Matt Laurie trained and 4 time winner HARRY GOT SYLES (OR 76); a former $400,000 yearling that has speed to burn.
OCEAN PARK; Colts sold in NZ for $240k, $170k, $100k and $80k respectively and he is represented with the full brother to TOFANE at the Easter Sales. The sire of 45 Stakes Horses at 8.5% Stakes Horses to Runners 2.2% Group Winners to runners, that include the G1 winners TOFANE, KOLDING, KOVALICA and OCEAN BILLY.
