Description

A strong, attractive, winning daughter of RESET (Zabeel), King Princess puts a lovely foal on the ground. She is offered in-foal to four-time Group One winner STATE OF REST (Starspangledbanner), who retired to stud at Newgate in 2023 at a fee of $44,000.

STATE OF REST has covered 259 mares in his first two seasons at stud in Australia, and he also shuttles to Rathbarry Stud in Ireland, where he has his first yearlings in 2025.

KING PRINCESS produced a quality colt by STATE OF REST in 2024. He has good size, scope and strength, coupled with good bone. A well-proportioned colt, the mare was sent back to him on the back of this successful mating.

The SAXON WARRIOR yearling colt out of KING PRINCESS has been retained to race by his breeders and he will be broken-in at Coolmore in the coming weeks. Both he, and the weanling colt out of KING PRINCESS can be inspected at the farm by prior appointment.

Daughters of RESET have been extremely successful at stud, producing 17 individual Stakes winners to-date and among those is this season’s Group One MRC Thousand Guineas winner ANOTHER PROPHET (Brazen Beau), and GOTTA GO GURU (Fiorente), winner of last month’s Group Three SAJC Lord Reims Stakes.
