Golden Estrella, 5yo mare by Zoustar.

Dual winner from the family of Sea The Stars & Spieth!

Golden Estrella has had two wins and two placings over her eleven career starts.

She is a daughter of the Flying Spur mare, Thrill, who is very well-related, being the half-sister to Star of The Seas and Spieth. She is the dam of four winners, including 4-time winner, Twig and dual winners, Hillaby, La Roux and Golden Estrella.

Golden Estrella was an outstanding yearling, being purchased for $625,000 from the Magic Millions Yearling Sale.

She underwent tie-back surgery in November 2023. She recovered from the surgery well, going on to secure another victory and several placings.

Unfortunately, she has not shown her best form this preparation and her wind may be holding her back. She is an attractive breeding proposition and we feel that she will be suited for the upcoming season or alternatively finishing her preparation in a weaker racing jurisdiction.
