Graff announced himself as a star juvenile, going unbeaten as a 2YO before returning at three to win the prestigious Group 3 San Domenico Stakes. The race has proven to be a launchpad for stallions, with recent winners including Anders, Exceedance, Star Turn, and Pariah. His three-year-old season saw him finish second in The Run To The Rose before an impressive performance in the Group 1 Golden Rose, where he finished just a length behind The Autumn Sun. That effort secured him a slot in The Everest, making him the first 3YO to contest the world’s richest sprint race, where he finished a strong fifth. He then ventured to Melbourne, finishing within a length of the winner in both the Group 1 Lightning Stakes and Newmarket Handicap, before breaking through at the elite level with victory in the Group 2 Caulfield Sprint. Across his career, Graff earned $1.3 million in prize money, showcasing exceptional speed and precocity—qualities synonymous with Australia’s best colonial sprinters.
As an outcross to Danehill, he offers breeders the opportunity to tap into Australia’s most dominant sire lines. Physically, he’s a powerful, well-balanced sprinter with a professional attitude—traits that are sure to be passed on to his progeny.
Graff's progeny are already showing ability on the track with his exciting 2YO Grafterburners winning the GCTC QTS 2YO Jewel and running 4th in the $2m Inglis Millennium.
