Seaspeak is one of only two live fillies from Only Words and the only one retained. She is a very attractive young mare. She is unraced due to a paddock injury, now resolved, as a late yearling. Seaspeak is a half sister to G2 winners, Holy Snow and Chat.
Having raced “pocket rocket” Only Words (13 starts 6-1-1) with 5 in succession including the Surround Stakes, we have seen this strong New Zealand family go from strength to strength. Babylon Berlin (All Too Hard) from Only Word’s half sister You Can’t Say That, has been a multiple G3 winner, together with several placings in NZ G1 company.
Seaspeak’s first foal by Capitalist was a late foal (born 7 November) and has been retained.
Seaspeak missed in 2024 to All Too Hard before being tested in foal to Spirit of Boom (LDS 2 November 2024). The incoming purchaser should confirm with Eureka Stud that a Free Return will be available.
Seaspeak requires sensitive handling in the crush.
