Description
Flashing Speed is a dual winning Group placed mare who hails from a strong family that is filled with black type success. She is a half sister to Thunder Fantasy who is the winner of the Gr.2 MRC Autumn Stakes, Listed Hong Kong Classic Cup and is also triple Gr.1 placed in the ATC Rosehill Guineas, VRC Victoria Derby and VRC Australian Guineas. Other stakes performed half siblings in this family include Éclair Calling. Flashing Speed has also shown that she is a proven producer in the sales ring with her progeny. Some of her sales results include Shamrock Betty who made $220,000 at the 2021 Inglis Classic Sale purchased by Anthony Cumming and also at the 2025 Inglis Classic sale where her Capitalist filly made $70,000 purchased by astute judges in Te Akau Racing.
Flashing Speed is being sold in foal to young dual Hemisphere Gr.1 winning stallion in STATE OF REST. STATE OF REST is a four-time Gr.1 winner with wins including Gr.1 Cox Plate, Gr.1 Prince of Wales’s Stakes, Gr.1 Prix Ganay and Gr.1 Saratoga Derby.
