Description
I Am Kalani is a young broodmare by I Am Invincible out of stakes placed 2YO and multiple city winner Cashkalani.
A 4 time winner on the track from 1000m to 1400m, I Am Kalani won twice as a 2YO - earning over $120,000 in prize money. From a strong female family littered with 2YO winners - her dam and her 2nd dam were both 2YO winners and close relation, Lil Kontra - won the G3 National Stakes and Listed Dequetteville Stakes at 2.
Her sire I Am Invincible has had a significant impact as a broodmare sire and has to date already produced the dams of 18 stakes horses including G1 winners Asfoora and Kimochi, G2 winning 2YO Straight Charge and 2025 G3 Blue Diamond Prelude winner Field Of Play.
I Am Kalani is being sold with her Hanseatic filly foal at foot. Born on the 10th October, this filly is correct, well grown with plenty of scope and athleticism. Hanseatic has had a terrific start to his progeny's first season on the track - with two city winners and 2 stakes horses - and after his daughter Befuddle fought out the finish in the Vobis Showdown race last weekend, it looks to only just be the beginning for this exciting stallion.
The I Am Kalani filly is bred on the same Hanseatic x I Am Invincible cross as talented 2YO filly Rohesia - who was stakes placed on debut in the Listed Inglis Banner at Flemington.
I Am Kalani has a 2YO filly by Toronado to run for her. She has a great temperament and stands at 16.1hh.
Straight forward foaling in 2024. Only not bred, and for sale, due to owner wishing to reduce their breeding stock.
