Xerxes

3-Year-Old Gelding by American Pharoah out of US Mare Dorodansa

Xerxes is a lightly raced miler+ gelding who has shown considerable promise in his first racing preparation. He has placed in 4 of his 5 starts, demonstrating genuine ability, and he is on the cusp of breaking his maiden. We believe this will be the start of many victories for him. Although he made a few mistakes last preparation, his natural ability is evident, and with the benefit of time and experience, we are confident in his future progress.

Physically, Xerxes is a big, strong gelding with excellent conformation. He has been a very sound horse since his purchase as a yearling at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in February 2023.

Xerxes is currently enjoying a well-deserved spell. He will resume pre-training next month before heading back into full work, where we will focus on helping him shed his maiden status and progress further in his career.
