Purrfect Deal '23 X Ray report
Description
This Wild Ruler filly is the first foal out of Purrfect Deal - a young Listed winning mare by Dundeel. Purrfect Deal has a weanling filly by 4-time Group One winner State of Rest and is in-foal to dual Group One winner Artorius.
She descends from Cambridge Stud's blue hen, My Tricia, dam of Grosvenor & ancestress of Lonhro & Lankan Rupee.
She is by First Season Sire Wild Ruler, a son of Champion Sire Snitzel, who was the standout sprinting colt of his generation. As a 2YO, he was a pre-Christmas debut winner of the Inglis Nursery and went on to claim a series of stallion-making races as a 3YO and 4YO, including the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint, the Group 2 Roman Consul, and the Group 1 Moir Stakes.
Wild Ruler’s first yearlings sell this year, top prices so far are $350,000 (filly ex Cappadocia) while his colts have sold to $342,342 (ex Stay Smart) at Karaka.
As a broodmare sire, Dundeel runs at an impressive 12.5% stakes winner to runners and his daughters have produced black type winners such as the exciting 2YO filly Within The Law (Group 2 – Sweet Embrace Stakes), Noah ‘n’ A Deel (Listed QLD Tatt’s RC Gold Crown) & Itza Charmdeel (Listed Levin RC Ryder Stakes in NZ).
The filly is available for inspection at Newgate Farm and is being sold UNRESERVED.
