Description

Sea Roads is a very lightly raced 3yo who is sound, having last raced at Strathalbyn on Wednesday, March 26th.

At his 2nd lifetime start he placed 2nd at Morphettville Parks, finishing behind a quality filly who is now competing at Stakes level during the SA Carnival.

He is a son of Deep Field, who is the sire of no less than 4 Group 1 winners of 8 G1 races in total.

He is out a very versatile Blackfriars mare who won 4 races from 1380m right through to 2250m.

His grand dam is a Canny Lad mare who won 6 races, displaying a good mix of speed and stamina, having won between 1000m and 1600m.

Sea Roads has shown plenty of promise in his trackwork and trials and it would be no surprise if he were to put it all together with a change of scenery and/or a bit of maturity.
