5yo Bay Gelding by ZED from NOT YOUR DAME

• HAND ME DOWN’s owners have decided to move him on as they prefer to be racing stakes class horses.

• HAND ME DOWN has won already, as well as placing from just seven starts to date. This lightly raced gelding is very unexposed and has the ability to earn some prize money and make his way through the grades for his new owners. His trainers feel he would be better suited to a lesser jurisdiction.

• HAND ME DOWN is currently in full training and is race-fit and sound, having run very recently on 28/03/25. He is ready to continue to train and race on for his new owners.

• This gelding is by ZED, who is the sire of the wonderful 11-time G1 winner VERRY ELLEEGANT. He is also the sire of a further two G1 winning geldings, in LADIES MAN and SURVIVED.

• HAND ME DOWN is out of the SIR PERCY mare NOT YOUR DAME, who was unraced but has thus far produced two winners from two runners on the track. SIR PERCY is a proven G1-producing broodmare sire in the southern hemisphere, having sired the dam of the G1 New Zealand Oaks winner LEICA LUCY (DERRYN).
