Salisano is an exciting opportunity to buy a racing & breeding prospect from one of the best two-year-old families in the Australian Studbook.
Salisano is a multiple city winner and has won more than $240,000 in prizemoney. Salisano is a half sister to 2YO stakes winner Lady Jivago, who has produced multiple 2YO winner Zamborghini. Her pedigree also features Not A Single Doubt, King's Legacy, Oohood, Come Hither, Cohesion & Zizou.
Salisano was a $200,000 Inglis Classic Yearling. Salisano has been measured as 16.1HH and currently weighs 545kg.
Shalaa has already begun to make his mark as an emerging broodmare sire. His only runner in Australia is the stakes placed Autumn Blonde, who has competed in the best fillies races throughout the Autumn. He is already striking at 60% winners to runners in the Northern Hemisphere. Daughters of Shalaa in Australia have visit some of the best sires in the country, including Too Darn Hot, So You Think, Dundeel & Toronado, as well as exciting young stallions Home Affairs, Jacquinot & In The Congo.
Salisano has had two previous embargoes, a suspension for becoming fractious in the barriers (Tuncurry 11/08/23 - reinstated 18/09/23) and a Vet Certificate (Randwick 25/01/25 - reinstated 6/2/25). She is currently not under any embargoes.
