3YO Filly INITIATE by Hellbent out of City Winner Pioneering genuine sale as one of our owners circumstances have changed
Initiate is a lightly raced 3-year-old filly by the exciting young stallion Hellbent, out of the multiple city-winning mare Pioneering. She made a strong impression on debut, finishing second in a promising performance that suggests she will excel over further—particularly around the 7-furlong mark.
A neat and attractive type, Initiate is still developing physically and has further improvement to come, but her professional attitude sets her apart. She applies herself well in her work and carries a temperament that will continue to serve her as she rises through the grades.
Following a short freshen-up, she returned to work in Brad Widdup's stables on April 1 and is now building towards a trial in approximately three weeks. Still a maiden and BOBS eligible, she looks well-placed this preparation to break through and begin collecting some valuable prize money as she continues to furnish into a high-quality filly.
