Description
Yearling filly out of a Stakes Winning mare, by Champion Second Season Sire TRAPEZE ARTIST.
This filly is the third foal out of the talented stakes winning sprinter FOX SWIFT.
FOX SWIFT won the Listed Cap D'Antibes Stakes at Flemington over 1100m as a 3YO, she also won at Randwick (1100m), ran 5th in the Group 3 Champagne Stakes (1200m) behind 2YO Magic Millions winner HOUTZEN, and placed at Rosehill (1200m) and Sandown (1000m).
FOX SWIFT's first two foals sold for $550,000 and $370,000 as yearlings. Unfortunately, both are now deceased with Fleet Footed a trial winner and multiple placegetter from 1200-1600m and Runaway Vixen an excellent winner at her only trial as Pre-Christmas 2YO in Sydney. The mare is currently in foal to exciting young sire Zousain.
She is by the outstanding Champion 3YO TRAPEZE ARTIST, he was crowned Champion Second Season Sire in 23/24 with earnings of $6.62m and sired more individual winners than Gr.1 producing stallions JUSTIFY, THE AUTUMN SUN, HARRY ANGEL & GRUNT. His progeny include Gr.1 Caulfield Guineas winner GRIFF, Gr.3 winners DUCASSE & FACILE, Gr.1 placed 2YO TUPAKARA, 2YO Magic Millions placegetter SPYWIRE, Group placed juveniles FLY FLY & DREAM SIDE, Stakes placed 2YO ARTISTIC VENTURE, Gr.3 placed CONCELLO, as well as the stakes placed quartet FLYING TRAPEZE, INTRODUCING, REBECCHI & ARTISTICA.
Trapeze Artist’s yearlings remain in high demand this year, selling for up to $300,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and $260,000 at the Inglis Melbourne Premier sale.
This filly is a nice mover with good bone and strength. She has low risk xrays and is ready to be broken in.
