3yo Bay Gelding by I AM INVINCIBLE from FLYING JESS
• BAVETTE was a very promising winner on debut coming from 6th on the turn in a very strong Inglis Bonus Race. BAVETTE is by three-time Champion Sire I AM INVINCIBLE and sold for $400,000 as a yearling at Inglis Easter.
• I AM INVINCIBLE has produced 16 individual G1 winners. He recently joined elite company as only the third stallion this century to secure three consecutive premierships—alongside the legendary DANEHILL and SNITZEL.
• I AM INVINCIBLE operates at a phenomenal rate of 81% winners to runners and 9.4% stakes winners to runners. An impressive 15% of his colts/ geldings have graduated to stakes level—an exceptional strike rate by any standard. He currently tops the 2024/2025 leading sires table by winners. He has already produced an outstanding 12 stakes winners this season—second only to SNITZEL, who leads with 14.
• I AM INVINCIBLE's star progeny to race in Hong Kong include G2 winner WISHFUL THINKER and 2024 HKIS graduate MARKWIN, who has earned HK$3.76 million.
• BAVETTE is out of the HINCHINBROOK mare FLYING JESS. Hinchinbrook is the broodmare sire of G1 HKJC Chairman’s Sprint Prize winner INVINCIBLE SAGE (Thronum). FLYING JESS amassed over $1.2m in prize money for her owners. She was precocious, winning the G3 SAJC Sires’ Produce Stakes as a 2yo and training on to win the RL GCTC Magic Millions Guineas. Consistently competitive at the top level, she also placed in four additional graded stakes races and notably defeated G1 winners GLOBAL GLAMOUR and PROMPT RESPONSE.
