Description
A well-bred I AM INVINCIBLE mare in foal to LUCKY VEGA.
Alluring Grace had 24 starts for 2 wins and 9 placings. She was a sprinting mare, leading from the front or coming from mid-field. She was competitive in Saturday metropolitan grade at Morphettville. She won at 1000m and 1100m.
She was sold at the 2019 MM Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $300,000, and her siblings continue to sell over the $100,000 mark. Her dam SENSUALISM (by Commands) has had 3 foals to the races, all winners. The dam is a half-sister to stakes winners LIESELE and LOVED UP.
Alluring Grace stands at 16:1½HH. Is easy to handle with no issues with transport, farrier or drenching. Did not go in foal first season, more to do with her being straight off the track. Second season went in foal off first cover. Can need sedation in crush for vetting work.
Alluring Grace is confirmed in foal to boom first-crop sire LUCKY VEGA, a two-year-old Gr.1-winning son of LOPE DE VEGA. Lucky Vega has made a fantastic start at stud, producing Gr.2 Sweet Embrace winner WITHIN THE LAW from his first-crop two-year-olds, as well as winner and Karaka Millions second VEGA FOR LUCK. His progeny have been in high demand in the sales ring, with second-crop yearlings selling for up to $380,000 in 2025. Plus off the back of stakes success LUCKY VEGA has had an increase in service fee for the upcoming season.
I AM INVINCIBLE is the broodmare sire of stakes winners ASFOORA, KIMOCHI, STRAIGHT CHARGE, etc. Alluring Grace herself is bred on the successful Invincible Spirit / Commands cross which includes stakes winners HAYASUGI and ON THE BUBBLES among others. Plus she has a line of the blue hen mares Cotehele House and Eight Carat which appear in stakes winners Verry Elleegant, Danewin, Fawkner, Vega Magic, Jimmysstar, Hayasugi, etc.
