Description

Cooly Rocks is a 3yo filly by BETTER THAN READY; out of six-time winning FUSAICHI PEGASUS mare, Speed Of Dark.

Her dam was a winner as a 2yo and went on to run fourth in the Group 3 Thousand Guineas Prelude, a half-sister to Listed winner, LA MUSE.

Lightly tried, Cooly Rocks has had four career starts in South East Queensland.

She has had the flashing light on in each of her runs and always shown good potential, however, has been unable to break her maiden to date.

Cooly Rocks was spelled as a 2yo with knee immaturity, she then had a knee chip removed after her fourth career start as a 3yo. She was given another lengthy spell before returning to training, having jumped out at Doomben on 22nd April but subsequently pulled up sore in a knee and will require another lengthly spell.

A lovely, strong filly with a good attitude. Stands approximately 16.1/16.2hh.

She is a big filly who has taken time. Her owners have elected to move her on rather than incur the cost of a lengthy spell and another preparation.
