Description
A multiple Stakes placed, MONTJEU mare in foal to young, emerging stallion TIME TO REIGN.
Raced at the highest level, including 4th in a Group One, JEHANNEDARC raced across three European countries picking up blacktype as many times. A tough, mile plus performer, JEHANNEDARC was imported into Australia but had only two metropolitan starts in June/July before retiring to the barn.
A winner at her second start, JEHANNEDARC's talent was evident early. 70% of her 22 races in Europe were at Stakes level where she proved remarkable consistent.
Whilst timing prevented an Australian Spring Campaign this Blacktype mare proved more than capable on the track and has started equally impressively as a Broodmare.
By six time Gr.1 winner MONTJEU and out of a RAINBOW QUEST mare, JEHANNEDARC has a pedigree that presents plenty of possibilities.
MONTJEU is a Broodmare sire of no less than 140 SWer's including a phenomenal 17 at Gr.1 level (LUCIA VALENTINA, DUBAI HONOUR etc)
JEHANNEDARC's first two foals were both metropolitan gallopers and CONDRIEU (Sebring) already retired to stud and in foal to EXCEEDANCE.
Her 3yo BATTLE OF THE ICE is undefeated. It is a RUSSIAN REVOLUTION gelding with Lloyd Kennewell and has had one start for a win over 1200m and is nominated twice in the coming week.

She has a 2yo gelding by TIME TO REIGN that won a Sydney trial impressively before a short two start prep. Trained by TIME TO REIGN's trainer Gary Portelli, MY MATE ELVIS looks very promising and is one to follow when it returns.
Good sized Stakes performed mare, JEHANNEDARC has two promising gallopers to come and has a pedigree well matched to many Australian stallions.
