Description
Durova – 3YO Filly by Russian Revolution

Durova is a progressive, lightly raced filly with plenty of upside. She has had just six career starts, debuting as a 2YO in the G3 Thoroughbred Stakes, before returning the following preparation to break her maiden first-up.
She continues to improve with racing and was solid last start under testing conditions. A big, scopey filly who is still maturing, Durova is in excellent condition and shaping as one who will improve with time and distance. She was unfortunately scratched due to weather on the 23/05 and at this stage may run at Canterbury Park on Wednesday.
A $250,000 purchase from the 2023 Karaka Yearling Sale, Durova is out of the stakes-placed Shamardal mare Aotearower, who has already produced two winners from four foals to race. The family continues to show promise, with her 2YO half-sister by Spirit of Boom (Titahi Bay) making an encouraging debut earlier this month.
Durova is being offered as part of a broader dispersal sale by her ownership group.
