Purchased for $80,000 at the 2024 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, he is by RUSSIAN REVOLUTION, sire of Group 1 winner COMMUNIST and Group 2 winners LIBERTAD and REVOLUTIONARY MISS—highlighting his reputation as one of Australia’s leading young stallions.
Out of DIAMONDSANDJEWELS (a Sepoy mare and sister to stakes-placed DUAL STAR), this gelding carries depth and class on the dam side. SEPOY, as a broodmare sire, has already produced G1 winner PIGNAN, G3 winner STEPARTY, and Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner O’OLE—making this colt a well-rounded prospect with a pedigree built for success.
DIAMOND REVOLUTION is currently spelling at DPR Breaking, Kulnura (NSW) following his early education and training at Warwick Farm under leading Group 1 trainer Joe Pride. He has been trained under the management of Proven Thoroughbreds, the powerhouse syndicators behind Everest winner THINK ABOUT IT and Group 1 Epsom Handicap winner PRIVATE EYE.
Interestingly, THINK ABOUT IT didn’t debut until the day before his 4th birthday, reinforcing that with time and the right development, diamonds can truly emerge later. Now gelded, he is being sold only because his owners have shifted focus exclusively to racing colts with stallion potential after investing in new yearlings at the 2025 sales.
