• Proven on the Track: Rapid Rose was lightly raced for a 1st and 2nd placing. proof of both talent and soundness. She wrapped up her racing career in August 2022 and retired to stud – she was immediately in-foal on her first cover (by Dundeel) on 24 September 2022.
• Exceptional Bloodlines: Rapid Rose is by northern hemisphere champion Irish sire Dawn Approach who had 12 starts to achieve 8 wins including four at Group 1. Rapid Rose is out of the Desert King mare, River Woman. River Woman achieved 4 wins in a total of 12 placings. Rapid Rose hails from a fantastic modern Australian family which includes elite performers Captivant, Headwater and Crown Prosecutor. Her pedigree only includes one cross of Danehill allowing for a broad range of choices in future matings.
• Broodmare Potential: She has good conformation, strong maternal lines, and excellent temperament. When she retired to stud in August 2022 she was immediately in-foal on her first cover (by Dundeel) on 24 September 2022. She’s produced 2 foals so far, a Dundeel colt in 2023 and a Rubick filly in 2024.
• Not in foal: She foaled a bay filly by Rubick in September last season and was given the year off. Not being in-foal at present she could be ready for an early cover this coming breeding season.
