Description
SANDY GRIP is an attractive daughter of PRIDE OF DUBAI out of the SPIRIT OF BOOM mare HOLDIN' MY OWN.
She has only had 5 starts, the latest of these being at the Gold Coast on the 14th of June and she was sent to the paddock straight after this. She could come straight back in to work if her new owners desired or continue to spell. She could also be retired to stud to take advantage of the upcoming breading season.
She has a good nature, and is not problem to handle both on the ground and under saddle. She is also a very good eater.
She is a horse that still has plenty of upside and she may also benefit from a smaller stable environment and and racing at easier level.
She is paid up for the lucrative QTIS scheme which is of more value to her being a filly which makes her eligible for an extra bonus. She is also paid up for BOBS in NSW.
She stands 16.1hh and weighs 554kgs.
She is being sold as she is not up to the Metropolitan level that her ownership group require.
