. A daughter of exciting 1st crop sire dual Gr1 winning 2yo King’s Legacy. King’s Legacy who is off to a very promising start with his first crop 2YOs in 2025 including Group winner Steel Trap etc. With only 22 runners King’s Legacy has sired 6 winners and 6 placegetters with 4 stakes horses already.

Highgrove Rose comes from a very current family Her dam Chintz (NZ) was a multiple stakes winning mare bred on the famed Savabeel / O’Reilly cross. Her first 3 to race are all winners including Group 2 winner Not an Option. Chintz (NZ) was a tough, durable mare who raced 27 times across both sides of the Tasman and blossomed as a 4YO. The first of 2 Extreme Choice siblings sold for $400K at Easter 2025.

On the back of strong barrier trials Highgrove Rose had a 3 start campaign as a late 2yo where she raced twice in black type events. It all came around a bit too soon for her, and like her dam will be far stronger with the benefit of time. See jockeys comments.

Highgrove Rose has presented with no known issues, is currently spelling at Kolora Lodge and will return to Jack Bruce stable after a well earned break.
