This well-grown and athletic yearling filly is by WOODED (IRE), the Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye-winning son of WOOTTON BASSETT, whose first Southern Hemisphere crops are drawing attention for their strength, style, and precocity. She is out of STAR OF MANHATTAN, a high-quality sprinting mare by champion sire ZOUSTAR, whose influence on the Australian sprinting landscape needs no introduction. A multiple metro-winning mare herself, STAR OF MANHATTAN also placed in stakes company and demonstrated real tenacity and class on the track. She hails from a strong female family with depth and durability, making her not only a proven producer but a valuable broodmare in her own right.
