Description
WEANLING HALF BROTHER TO STAKES HORSE BY HEADWATER
This athletic colt is the half-brother to twice Stakes placed Starating who is an earner of just under $100k. He is also a half-brother to 3YO placed Lost Ya Sock who was a $80,000 Inglis Classic yearling purchased by Doug Gorrel Racing and Wattle Bloodstock.
He also has a yearling half-sister by Exceedance who was retained by owners and has reportedly broken in well and his 2YO full brother is named Our Vinny and is in the stable of Annabel and Rob Archibald.
His second dam is the Gr.2 winner ROCK ME BABY who is a great winner producer of 9 foals to race for 100% winners.
He is by Headwater, whose yearlings sold for $70,000, $60,000 etc this season and he’s currently on track for his best season yet with 92 individual winners, highlighted by recent multiple Stakes winner London’s Image.
Headwater is the sire of 19 individual Stakes horses and million-dollar earners such as JAMAEA, WISDOM OF WATER and STRAIGHT ACER.
