Description
A sharp, precocious looking filly by TRAPEZE ARTIST. She is a forward type and a great mover. This colt is the first foal out of the Churchill mare in Sword Of Honour. Sword Of Honour comes from a family that is filled with black type winners and performers. She is a half sister to SWORD OF LIGHT who is a Gr.2 winner, 2YO Gr.3 MRC Blue Diamond Preview winner and producer of Beskar, who placed in this year’s edition of the 2YO Gr.2 ATC Kindergarten Stakes. A half-sister to eight-time winner including at Stakes level in SWORD OF JUSTICE and a half-sister to winning mare Kaiken who is the dam of 2YO black type performers in Nodachi and Sword of Legacy.
Trapeze Artist was a Champion 3YO on the track and has quickly proven himself as a force at stud, crowned Champion Second Season Sire in 2023/24 with progeny earnings of $6.62 million. In a standout season, he sired more individual winners than fellow second season sires Justify, Harry Angel, and Grunt. His rising influence is evident through an impressive list of progeny, including Group 1 Caulfield Guineas winner GRIFF, Group 3 winners DUCASSE and FACILE, and Stakes winners FLYING BANDIT and PINITO—the latter also a Group 1 Queensland Oaks placegetter.
