Description
An filly by champion sire and champion racehorse TRAPEZE ARTIST. This filly is out of the Cape Blanco mare Dark Heather who is a half sister to Gr.2 MRC Rubiton winner and dual Stakes winner HEATHERLY. Dark Heather is the producer of the Super Seth filly Porcia Catonis who is a dual winner and made $110,000 at the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast yearling sale purchased by David Ellis. She has also produced Wootton Bassett filly Miss Bassett who fetched $300,000 at the 2024 New Zealand Karaka Yearling sale purchased by astute judges in Mulcaster Bloodstock and Chris Waller.
Trapeze Artist was a Champion 3YO on the track and has quickly proven himself as a force at stud, crowned Champion Second Season Sire in 2023/24 with progeny earnings of $6.62 million. In a standout season, he sired more individual winners than fellow second season sires Justify, Harry Angel, and Grunt. His rising influence is evident through an impressive list of progeny, including Group 1 Caulfield Guineas winner GRIFF, Group 3 winners DUCASSE and FACILE, and Stakes winners FLYING BANDIT and PINITO—the latter also a Group 1 Queensland Oaks placegetter.
