Description
Rush You is a young mare by Champion sire Pierro, out of the winning mare Rock Diva (Woodman). She hails from a strong female lineage. Her granddam is the outstanding mare Canny Lass, a multiple Gr.1 winner and proven producer, dam of the stakes-winning mares Causeway Lass and Astute Angel, the latter being the dam of Gr.3 winner and Gr.1-placed Al Jameel.
Causeway Lass and Astute Angel are both full sisters to Rock Diva. She is also a half-sister to Schiaparelli, dam of Gr.2 winner Rothesay and Gr.3 winner and Gr.1-placed Sensei.
This pedigree reflects a deep female line, rich with black type, proven producers, and consistent performance at the highest level.
As a broodmare, Rush You is the dam of two foals. Her first foal is a filly named Hurry Miss, by Gr.1-producing sire Alabama Express, whose early success—especially with fillies—highlights his growing influence at the highest levels. Hurry Miss trialled and placed in 2025.
Rush You also has a yearling by dual Gr.1-winning miler Grunt, retained by Yulong.
In 2024, Rush You was covered by Group-producing sire Lucky Vega, sire of 2025 Gr.2 Sweet Embrace Stakes winner Within The Law. Lucky Vega has proven to be an exceptional investment for breeders, with his 2025 yearlings selling for up to $380,000 and averaging eight times their service fee.
