Description
Searchin’ Roc’s is a 6-time Stakes winning mare who amassed over $1,064,490 in prizemoney throughout her career.
She was a quality racehorse all throughout her career. As a 2YO she won three of her first four races all at metro level. On her resumption as a 3YO she won the Listed Belgravia Stakes over 1200m and went on to win the G3 Champion Fillies Stakes over 1600m. She then contested the G1 Kingston Town Stakes and was only 2.8L behind G1 winners Regal Power and Western Empire. At the end of her 3YO career she won the Listed Belmont Oaks over 2000m.
She returned as a 4YO mare and won the second of her Group 3’s, the G3 R.J. Peters Stakes over 1500m, she was then competitive in the G1 Railway Stakes and G1 Northerly Stakes. As a 5YO she won the Listed Farnley Stakes over 1400m and then as a 6YO won the Listed Idyllic Prince Stakes over 1300m. Searchin’ Roc’s has been a wonderfully consistent mare who has raced at Stakes level throughout the majority of her career, contesting 27 Stakes races and finishing in the top four on 12 occasions.
Searchin’ Roc’s is ready for the next chapter of her career as a broodmare. WA mares have proven to be great producers, producing the likes of Vega Magic, Superstorm, Trap For Fools, Tiger Of Malay, Bruckner etc. Plus fast WA mares who have won over 1200m or below have produced the likes of Arcadia Queen, Hay List, Sheeza Belter, Daysee Doom, Graceful Girl etc.
She is also a granddaughter of Fastnet Rock. Fastnet Rock is the broodmare sire of 16 G1 winners and 147 Stakes winners, highlighted by the likes of Santa Ana Lane, Zougotcha, Joliestar, Reserve Bank, Lady Of Camelot etc.
