Description
ANGEL’S CHOICE is the unraced daughter of four-time Australian Champion Broodmare Sire REDOUTE’S CHOICE – His daughters have produced no fewer than 28 individual Group 1 winners including ANAMOE, ZOUSTAR, SACRED FALLS, SUPER SETH and ARTORIUS to name a few.
She is a full sister to the Top 3YO filly of her generation in MELITO whose Group 1 wins include the time honoured ATC TJ Smith Stakes and QLD Tatt’s RC Winter Stakes, Melito was also placed multiple times at Group 1 level. Other notable Group winners in the family include ROCKETING BY – winner of the Group 3 ATC Sydney Stakes, Pariah a two-time Group 3 winner as well as Listed winners YOU’RE SO GOOD and MADEIRA SUNRISE.
Angel’s Choice's progeny have been purchased by astute judges including Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott and Domeland, with her last two yearlings offered sold for $420,000 and $400,000 respectively. Her current 3YO, Mercantilist was a winner on debut and placed 4th at her only other start and is currently in work with Sara Ryan. She also has a 2YO by I Am Invincible named Vinnie's Angel in training with Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott to race for her.
In 2024 Angel’s Choice foaled a colt (pictured) by Home Affairs off a later service and was given the year off last season. This will allow the purchaser to set her up for an early cover to the sire of their choosing. She stands at 15.3 HH.
