Description
Baroda is a sales graduate of the 2018 Classic Yearling sale, bought for $150,000. She was able to make a return on the sale price with 5 wins (metropolitan grade for 3 of them) and 4 placings from 16 starts at the sprint distance of 1200m to 1400m for stakes winnings of over $275K.
Her dam Dandy Warhols was a 7 times winner from 1000m to 1600m. She has had 5 to the races for 4 winners with a 2yo still to come. She is a half-sister to G2 placed Lucid Reflection. Baroda’s second dam is highly connected with her being a three-quarter-sister to stakes winner CATRIONA, a half-sister to FORCE APOLLO, Breaking News (dam of NEWS ALERT), My Muse (dam of PRINCE RUBITON), Lady Elegante (dam of SIRANTO). She has also done well at the yearling sales having had progeny at Sydney Easter and MM Gold Coast sales selling from $150,000 to $72,500. A really nice black type family.

Baroda is good to transport, farrier, drench and vet. Her confirmation is good and she is a nice mare to deal with. She is empty this season so a prospective buyer can look for an early cover. She has had 2 nice colts, the now yearling by Shalaa selling this year in the INGLIS Melbourne Premier sale, and the weanling by Portland Sky, recently sold through the INGLIS Great Southern Sale for $40K.
