Description
The well-bred Masikota is by Street Cry, a descendant of Mr Prospector, then on the dam side she has Sadler’s Wells and Sir Tristram. A pedigree bursting with opportunities. Her dam is a half to G1 winner Rinky Dink, and one more generation back you have Group Winners Sale Of The Century, Gimmick, Clearly Innocent and the list keeps going.
Street Cry has steadily worked his way up the Broodmares sire list with the likes of G1 winners Romantic Warrior, Cascadian, Broadsiding, Ka Ying Rising, Treasurethe Moment, Vino Rosso, and the list continues. He broke into the top ten 2022/23 and is still rising up the charts.
Masikota herself was unraced. She is a well-built mare, easy to get in foal and is easy to float, farrier and vet. She has had one foal to the races for a winner and her 2yo by Churchill is showing a lot of promise. She also has done well in the sale ring with her Lucky Vega weanling filly bringing $55K, recently at the INGLIS Great Southern Sale.
She has been left empty as her owner was unsure of the next step. She is now being sold as the owner is downsizing his breeding interests.
