Description
Grahams Pride is a lightly raced gelding with loads of potential. Patiently managed by his ownership group, he made his debut earlier this season and has since won or placed in three of six starts. He’s shown a clear preference for softer ground, with an impressive win at Trentham over 1600 metres on a Soft 7 track earlier this year.
By 9-time Champion Sire Savabeel, Grahams Pride is out of O’Reilly Rose (O’Reilly), a multiple stakes winner of nine races and a three-quarter sister to Shamexpress. It’s a family with plenty happening with Grahams Pride’s full sister Rosegarden producing last start Listed Tattersall’s Stakes winner Autumn Boy, who remains unbeaten in his 2YO preparation.
Savabeel needs no introduction as a sire and has held a strike rate of 11% stakes winners to runners and 73% winners to runners over many seasons. The cross of Savabeel over O’Reilly mares has also been extraordinary, and currently runs at 14% stakes winners to runners.
An exceptional type and a $400,000 Inglis Easter yearling himself, Grahams Pride hails from a commercially proven family, with siblings selling for up to $825,000.
He is currently spelling at Cavallo Agistment Centre (just outside Otaki, New Zealand) and is available for inspection and vetting upon request.
