Dam of a Dual Stakes Winner Still Racing

Del Lirio is a dual metro Sydney winner (one as a 2yo). She is by HUSSONET, sire of the dams of Group 1 winner EXTREME CHOICE amongst many Group and stakes winners.

As a broodmare herself, Del Lirio is the dam of exciting dual stakes winner MATERIAL MAN, the winner of nine races from only 14 starts to-date ($335,000), including the Listed Prince of Wales Stakes and the Listed Bunbury Cup earlier this year.

Material Man is back in work and will be aimed at the Group 1 Railway Stakes in November. See the video of his three most recent wins.

Del Lirio has only been served in two seasons, producing Material Man and an unraced 3yo filly which has just been named Scandalous Miss. This filly is showing good ability and will be racing in the next few months.

Del Lirio is a half sister to four other winners, two of them Sydney and Melbourne metro winners. She has two full sisters in the early stages of their broodmare careers and two other half sisters which haven’t been to stud as yet.

Del Lirio was not served between 2013 and 2016 due to the chronic ill health of her owner.

Del Lirio stands 15.3 hh and is a correct type.
