RED RANSOM Half Sister to MONTAUK
This scopey mare was a $320,000 yearling, purchased by Tim Martin. A winner, she was also dual Sydney placed.
Pink Argyle is a daughter of RED RANSOM, a highly successful broodmare sire, producing several Group 1 winners in both hemispheres.
She is out of stakes winning mare DIAMOND COVE (7 wins $319,630). Diamond Cove has produced six foals to race for five winners, including Chris Waller’s charge Montauk who is racing in fine fettle, having run second in the Listed Winter Cup at Rosehill and then placed in the Listed Grafton Cup at his last two starts.
Diamond Cove had an I AM INVINCIBLE filly last season and is due to foal to BRAZEN BEAU. She has produced six fillies to-date, guaranteeing the pedigree plenty of opportunity to flourish.
Pink Argyle has not been to stud before and provides a great opportunity for a breeder to start her off commercially. A recent general health and suitability for breeding certificate is attached.
