Description
La Pintana is a young mare with a contemporary pedigree and a great deal of commercial appeal. Being offered off the track as a breeding prospect only, La Pintana has only had the two career starts at NSW metropolitan and provincial level respectively.
On type La Pintana has good size, shape and strength and is very athletic with a lovely loose stride. Her pedigree also offers plenty of strength and depth being by the sire that gave us Black Caviar in Bel Esprit, she is out of a Stravinsky mare who is a half sister to two Group winners in Rasa Lila and Posavina.
Rasa Lila (by Darci Brahma) is a Group 2 winner and dual Group 1 placed, she also performed at Group level on a further 3 occasions including a Group 3 win. A high performing filly family, Posavina who is by Tiger Hill was also a winner at Group 3 level.
In perfect timing for the current breeding season, La Pintana represents a great opportunity for breeders looking for a young mare with plenty of breeding upside.
