Description
Hi Caliber is a well bred, well conformed 4YO gelding who is relatively lightly raced but has already proven his ability on the racetrack with a win and third placing from only 10 starts. His last run was on the 31st March where he ran third in a Class 1 over 2000m where he was beaten less than a lenght by the winner. His run prior to that was over the same distance where he triumphed over the opposition after sitting mid field in the trip and storming home to win by more than two and a half lenghts.
Hi Caliber is bred to get over a trip and his early patter of racing proves just that. A horse with plenty of racing upside, Hi Caliber is being offered for sale due to the fact that he is not quite reaching the level of racing that his current connections are looking for.
A lovely horse with proven ability and carrying a current NSW benchmark rating of 53, Hi Caliber would be ideally suited to a stable looking for a future country cups type horse that can work through his grades in the meantime.
