Description
STREET COMIC is a Benchmark 57 Queensland (approx. 49 in NSW), this regally bred, well conformed gelding has promised the World but so far delivered an Atlas for his owners and as can be the case in large ownership groups, patience has run out, so the time has come and the majority voted to sell him and re-invest in a new yearling with us.
To be fair, STREET COMIC should have won several races however if you watch all his race video’s you’ll understand the emotional pain the owners have gone through. Let’s just say some of the rides have been……………
However - That’s racing! The horse was sent to Washpool Lodge Spelling Farm in Qld for a short 3 week let-up after his most recent start on 28 March but a subsequent vote has decided to not to persevere with the 4yo. That coincided with the closing date of this sale so that’s the reason he’s here.
As per all Dynamic Syndications managed horses – he is being offered UNRESERVED.
STREET COMIC to our knowledge is sound of wind and limb, clean with no vices. We are not aware of any veterinary issues that would prevent him competing in races. Last preparation he won at the Sunshine Coast over 2200m and was placed at Doomben over 2070m. This prep he has been placed at Doomben over 1350m and the Sunshine Coast over 1600m.
Our owners only wish to race city class horses so having been given that opportunity, he is now surplus to our needs.
Potential buyers should be aware we do not consider him to be a city class galloper – that is why he is being offered for sale. However, provincial races are not beyond him as his form reveals. Therefore he would be well placed in country grade and the fact he has a low benchmark and is only a class 1 horse, then placed to advantage, there is no known reason that he can’t put photos on your wall.
