Description
Weekend is a two-time winning 5yo bay mare who is letting us know that she is now ready to be a mum.
She is currently under embargo for non-starting and is for sale as a broodmare proposition only.
Weekend had a lot of ability and her last-to-first win at Kyneton can only be described as electric.
She is from a strong running family and is closely related to stakes winners Brunchtime, Headstrong and Kenmark (winner of the Caulfield Guinness and Goodwood Handicaps).
She is out of the Mull of Kintyre mare Munch, who has thrown all winners of multiple races including the extremely talented Mr. Dashing who defeated subsequently Gr1 placed Mr Sneaky by 2 lengths. We were once offered $450K for this horse before his untimely and tragic death.
Her sire, Any Given Saturday, was a Gr.1. winner and is sire of 19 individual stakes winners to date.
She is a strong, well grown mare with good bone who should make an excellent broodmare.
