Description
Sarzana is an impressive race filly that has shown plenty of ability early and is well on her way to breaking her maiden status. A 3YO filly and only 7 starts to date, Sarzana has already placed at Sydney metropolitan level over 1250m in July this year. Her last start was as recent as the 22nd August where she finsihed 4th at Warwick Farm over a mile.
Currently still in full work at Richard Freedman' stables at Rosehill she is knocking on the door of her first victory and would relish a drop in grade back to provincial or country racing.
An oustanding individual on type she has size and strength and is a scopey, correct, good looking filly that is well rounded and built for racing in every aspect.
Furthermore Sarzana has the pedigree to back up her good looks being by international race track sensation Animal Kingdom, who has already sired stakes winners Untamed Domain, Peaceful State, Sunny Skies, Camilla Princess and Continental Divide. All from just 4 crops of racing age.
The depth of pedigree continues through Sarzana's female line with her dam Sara's Choice (by Choisir) having won at stakes level herself, producing four foals to race for 3 winners. As mentioned above it won't be too long before her produce record reads 4 from 4.
