TROPE is being sold as a racing and stallion prospect and will be sold UNRESERVED.
TROPE is an entire, standing at 16hh, who has shown rare talent and an electric turn of foot in his short nine career start to date. Eight of his nine starts came at stakes level where he placed four times up to Group 2 level, while his latest three races have been at Group 1 level. His racecourse performance is strongly complemented by his outstanding physique, while his pedigree, which has been a pillar of the commercial Australian breeding industry over the past two decades, is both Danehill-free and Danehill-compatible. TROPE is being sold as a hugely appealing racing and stud prospect. He has been measured at 15.3hh in height and 565kg in weight on 20 March 2020.
Alan Bell, who identified and purchased TROPE as a yearling for $500,000 at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, has hand selected, purchased and raced the likes of SCHILLACI, GRAND ARMEE, DEEP FIELD, STAR TURN & GRAFF in his famous grey and red cross sashed silks.
TROPE is from one of the desirable and highly sought after pedigrees in Australasia. This family, which is synonymous with sale-ring and racecourse success, is renowned for it’s ability to pass on quality from one generation to the next. A son of world-class sire More Than Ready, out of a mare by the great Galileo, TROPE has a pedigree that is an envious combination of being both Danehill-free and Danehill-compatible.
